NOTE: the muzzle on some gun fits will protrude beyond the leather. This is by design.
NOTE: Extended Magazines
1. Full size pistol: system mag carrier will not accommodate extra-capacity or extended
magazines. To assemble a system for extended magazines, please purchase extended mag carrier or horizontal mag carrier as separate components.
2. Compact/subcompact pistol: if a full size version of your pistol is available, the mag
carrier will generally also accommodate magazines from the full-sized pistol.
3. Please contact Galco customer service for further clarification as needed.

NOTE: Sleeved Magazines
May not properly accommodate magazines with exterior sleeves, as the baseplates will
rub together.
Description

The Original Jackass Rig™ was reintroduced for Galco International’s 30th Anniversary. Galco’s predecessor, "The Famous Jackass Leather Company," first introduced this shoulder system in 1970. It features a horizontal holster that can be adjusted to a more diagonal carry position than our Miami Classic or MCII, attaching to the harness with our swivel connectors.

The ammo carrier has a streamlined yet secure design, while the Premium Center Cut Steerhide™ harness provides unparalleled concealment opportunities, greater adjustment and comfort. All four points of the center cut steerhide harness can pivot independently and are connected by our unique clover-shaped Flexalon™ swivel back plate, which is a Galco trademark.

The Jackass Rig includes holster, harness, ammo carrier and a set of harness fasteners. The Jackass Rig is fully modular. Optional accessories and components may be purchased separately, including commonly-used items like tie-downs.

Made for semiautomatic pistols, the two-tone Jackass Rig is available in right and left hand draw in black holster/ammo carrier finish and contrasting tan harness.

Harness fits chests to 56".

Jackass rig
Got the Jackass rig to holster my G19 primary carry. Had experience with the Classic Lite for the S&W642. Finally, after all these years of never being comfortable with a belt rig I've found the answer to a carry method I am happy with.

Wonderful
I have a Glock 34, with its size it’s difficult to find a way to carry concealed. The Jackass rig is the ONLY shoulder holster that manages this. It’s also comfortable and well made.

Nice All the Way Around
This is my first quality shoulder rig and, now that it is fitted, I am very pleased with its comfort, concealability, design, material and workmanship. Like other Galco leather holsters I have had, breaking it in to fit the pistol took a bit of work, but it is always better to have a new cowhide holster fit a little tight than too loose and the end result was worth the effort. Thanks Galco!
